We left Tulsa and this was the rest stop just across the state line in Missouri,it was a nice place with good people staffing the visitor center.

I-44 in Missouri About this time we started looking for a overnite campground. It wasn't long before a sign for Meramec State Park came up.

To Danville,In. We made the turnon local Hwy39 north from the I-70. After a couple of days of driving around I've found the road in the picture to be typical of the local area.

It was fairly easy to walk, we had found that it was a loop trail that return to the opposite of the parking area
