travelingman2 > March 07,2008...East bound on I-60...heading to the I-10 through the Badlands area of Moreno Valley,Ca.
travelingman2 > Yucca,Ca. on Hwy62 heading towards 29 Plams to where we will make our way to Amboy Crater. I had read that the wildflowers were in overdrive this year.
travelingman2 > Arriving at Amboy Crater, its welcoming signage is easily seen from National Trail Hwy aka Route 66.
travelingman2 > Entering Amboy Crater Road, carpets of Desert Gold rolled out for miles.
travelingman2 > Amboy Crater with its cloak of Desert Gold.
travelingman2 > We'll be spending the night out here. I always liked watching the sunset, the closing of another day.

travelingman2 > Our choosen spot ,not far from the vaulted toilets and away from the main parking area. The pervous night was very quiet and this morning was overcast.
