travelingman2 > I hadn't realize that the visitor center was this far from the trail entrance.
travelingman2 > Canyonlands visitor center dead ahead,we paided our fees and recieved our permit to travel on the Shafer and WRT.
travelingman2 > Across the street from the visitor center you can see some of Shafer Trail. My wife poses by a fine looking pinyon pine.
travelingman2 > Honey is your insurance paided up? From here I was able to take several good photos looking down upon Shafer Trail.
travelingman2 > Shafer Trail, the road at the bottom of this picture is the same Shafer Trail.
