travelingman2 > June 05,2008: This is the day we drove to Canyonlands and went down on the Shafer road to the White Rim Trail. Hopefully we will be able to circumnavigate the entire road.
travelingman2 > The air was as silent as a snake slithering thru the grass on the hunt. Coolness hung in the air this morning and clouds overhead keeping the sun from making its grand entrance from beyound the mountains.
travelingman2 > Sunrise came with rosie color and gray this morning. I had forgotten about the sunset setting so late last night and with cool weather ahead, this was a good start.
travelingman2 > Only a couple of other travelers were out this early, walking their dogs and me running around in shorts, barefoot,taking photos.
travelingman2 > With so few people poking around breakfast was quite and I needed some coffee to get going.
travelingman2 > Finnished with the morning chours, we left Arch View heading to Canyonlands on Hwy 313.
travelingman2 > Hwy191 to Moab, Hwy313 to Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point State Park. This intersection is a stone throw from Arch View RV Park.
travelingman2 > Hwy 313 has a mild grade with a few short cruves.
travelingman2 > Roadside bouquet.
Finnished with the morning chours, we left Arch View heading to Canyonlands on Hwy 313.
